We were exploring moving to Arizona where I grew up (before two more granddaughters happened) it surprised the hell out of me that to get from GA to AZ, Alabama was the state I would have had to circumnavigate.

Why SBR a lower? Mostly because I don't have one. And because I'm kind of tired of having a "Fiero with body panels" instead of the real Ferrari.

I have an AR pistol. I don't like the ($130+) braces. Including the SBX that I have currently. I think they've gotten better, but it's still not a real stock.

I'd like to have a real transferable full auto sear too, but $35K is out of reach. A $200 stamp is within reach. Especially considering the price of another brace.

The 6.8 is no winner... The Army would have been better off going to a 7.62 NATO round in the new M16A4's/M4's.

The 6.8 is essentially a .270 Winchester kurz.
Great bullet, not enough case to make it shine. My longish range ar build is on hold until the military rolls out their new cartridge and it widely vetted in the field. Maybe pre Vietnam traditional marksmanship will be taught at a high level again in basic.
