That really surprises me because on my pistols and my 4.5" AR I had a few silencer manufactures ask me if I was testing while wet it was so much quieter.

I have yet to use any subsonic in my 22. I will admit I have to dig for the slower rounds to get usage from the suppressor. If not its like nutin on the barrel.

I couldn't really tell a difference when using federal automatch*. Maybe it's a function of my monocore suppressor? I dunno.

I saw somewere they had a bolt for 10/22 that would cycle CCI quiets. Have to try find it again.

Doesn't really matter coming out of a 4.5 inch barrel. Supers don't have the time to reach those speeds. Very noticeable outs a rifle. This and gemtech is what I primarily shoot out of my rifles. For fun, I chrono'd them. SD of only 9.7. pretty damn consistent for 22.

I can hear differences on my short barrels using different ammo, that extra powder burning is going to expand air somewhere.

@Laufen, I tested it with my sparrow so mines a monocore as well.

Wait, now that im thinking about it, i dont own a 9mm host. So it was either the 124s through someone elses gun, or it was their 45. I have boxes of both.
I shot them at an outdoor range where everyone was shooting suppressed with subs. After the first shot everyone looked at me like wtf. It was loud.
