What they are showing is that they are average Americans that happen to be living under a microscope as the result of the actions of a kook. They too are in fear of losing a right that they have taken for granted. Maybe America is waking up to the very real threat of changes to our 2nd Amendment rights.
Looks to me like people may be concerned that it could happen again in a store or some public place. Copycat killings is not a myth. I would prepare myself as well.
Remember the LA riots......The public swarmed the gun stores.....
