What a great weekend! I went to the Eastern Ohio Conservation Club gun raffle and won a side raffle for either two shotguns or a 600 dollar voucher and I decided to go with the voucher and picked up this beauty, a Smith & Wesson 686 .357 Mag in a 6" Barrel, 7 shots of pure awesomeness! Nice one Dirt!! I'm thinking about buying a 686 in 4" barrel... then again I'm thinking about get the S&W model 60. I love the feel of that gun.

Got the club all to myself today! View attachment 654 View attachment 655 View attachment 656 View attachment 657 Decided to sight in the Smith & Wesson 686. 357 Mag, (All rounds fired from 25 ft out) the plate in the middle is the first rounds fired, a couple of strays but overall not bad for a guy who doesn't shot revolvers all that much, the plate on the right is shooting Right handed only, and the plate on the left is shooting Left handed only (not to shabby for a righty!)

Thanks man! It's a very small conservation club that I belong to (compared to others in the area); 42 acres, outdoor pistol range and only 100yd rifle range, small lake and indoor archery, I always prefer to shoot pistol out on the rifle range when nobody is around, let's me move around a bit and draw from holster and whatnot, kinda setup my own little 3 gun course to do my thing when nobody is around, they do alot of good for the community there; bass fishing derbies for kiddos in the area, they do a archery clinic for the kids, and a shotgun clinic as well and all free of charge, they also have a beagle club but I'm not really all that familiar with it to be honest. All in all a pretty cool place with like minded folk

Smith & Wesson. 38 special, I'm not sure of the age on this one but it's been in the family for a damn long time, nice shooter and a pretty concealable gun although I very rarely carry a revolver these days View attachment 665 View attachment 666
