vz 82 differences---
*slant (military) ambi mag release button VS flat
*front sight has white strip line, rear two small white dots
*all cap pins in frame-NO roll pins
*two styles of lanyard loops – full or half
1) angle cut with a lot of metal surrounding hole
2) even metal all around hole
*magazine bases:
1) blued metal
2) milled aluminum
3) cased aluminum
*magazine bodies:
1) groves at top, both sides 1 ¼ inch, stamped and milled floor plate
2) groves at top and bottom, both sides ¾ inch- stamped floor plate only
*solid pin, early, or roll pin, late, front sight ---have not seen solid pin
*square -- early dot, or ramped, late, front sight---calibers on 83’s are different and on 83 in mak
* Ejection port pulled back towards extractor and lowered in 1988?
* extractor-cad / nickel plate or blued
*vz82 has slot head grip screws, cz83 has Phillips
*82 and 83 grips are not interchangeable without a lot of fitting and even so may not
fit. There are at least five known variations of the 82/83 grips.
