A lot of .Gov jobs really have it quite good. Pensions at near 100% regular pay would require millions in a 401k for normal folks.

Which .Gov jobs have close to 100% pensions? Most are either CSRS which was phased out years ago so only old heads are under that system, the new system is FERS and then you have other entities that have something different entirely, FBI I think and the like, Air Traffic Controllers, and some others.

What's the deal with PD trade ammo? GTG or avoid?

I’ve had luck with it. In my experience I was told it was the stuff that never made it to the range and is X years old or however, or they switched calibers/brand

I have been told it was handled by the Police so it might explode or go Pffffttttt.

But Seriously all I have had has been GTG

I lumped teachers in there. A woman I know in early 50s has an 80% pension after 30 years or so teaching.
