True. The main lesson I wish people could learn from both eras is that these "revolutions" start with "society is unfair" (tautological, obviously) & some utopian fantasy of "perfecting society" but quickly disintegrate into "purity" or "wokeness" obsessions that lead to a completely chaotic situation so many people the gladly embrace any dictator that can bring order to society.
This shit always ends in a worse police state than it had when it started. Sorry for the rant.
