Ok, my 1st answer ("yes") was prolly not that helpful. Logic would say the pattern should spread more because the shot is held together in the tube for less time. My experience, however, is that there's no telling how the hell the pattern will change when you cut the barrel down, but it will definitely change. I've had the spread way out. some held about the same, some had a weird but consistent void in the pattern.
