My Proof Research 16” .308 AR barrel arrived recently. It will be going in my DRD Tactical M762, replacing the 16” FN CHF barrel already on there. I’m waiting on the Sadlak gas block and Silencerco ASR flash hider to arrive to finish assembly. I’ll post pics of the entire rig when the last pieces of the puzzle arrive.
These rifles shoot very well with the FN barrels, can’t wait to see what she’s capable of now. I didn’t do a before-and-after weight difference, but the feeling is immediately noticeable.
I got what PR calls their intermediate gas system. They stated that it should function just fine with standard loads with a can installed, which is what I’m wanting. The gas system is longer than a carbine, but shorter than a rifle.
