I moved last june and have been so busy it slipped my mind to update my trust. Now I want to add some things to the trust so I wanted to know what I have to do. I got an amendment from Dean and he said I have to fill out a form 5320.20, but from what I read that is optional. any help?

He told me that I need to fill out a form 5320.20 as well, he just redid my trust for me.

I read where it's up to you if you want to let them know you moved in state. It's outta state where the forms need to be file and approved before you move the items across the state line.

I'd go with what the NFA lawyer says. I'm no lawyer so don't go by what I say. LoL sounds like it's personal preference here. I've submitted the same trust for each of my NFA items and never updated it and have been approved on all but 1 (still pending at 4 mos) so far. Some people updated theirs each time the got a new item. It's up to you I guess.

What ,who, where? I just got a trust. I did not know they expire. How long they good for?

after I send out the form 2 for an address change do I have to wait from something from the ATF before I file a new form 4?

I meant the 5320 form not form 2

The ATF website says that a form 20 needs to be filled out for a destructive device, SBS, MG or SBR. Is a suppressor considered a "destructive device" from what I read I dont think it is. All I have on my Schedule A is 1 suppressor.
