Clearances. Sorry it's like magazine vs clip to me
I think right tolerance is correct... Care to explain why its so terribly wrong to say?
Hornady, Hydra shocks, heck it'll even take wide mouth Cor-Bon but you gotta run a box to make sure.
Never mind. didnt read the beginning of the thread. Thought he was just saying they were built to tight tolerances,like you quoted, which may be true. I don't know. This of course would not negatively affect reliability necessarily. Carry on.
Just saw your second post. Regardless, maybe this will help someone else:
A gun might need break in due to tight clearances, meaning the gun fits together very tight. Little space between parts. Like a custom built 1911 or something. The parts need to wear against each other a little for the action to loosen up.
Tolerance describes the precision to which parts are manufactured. Naturally tighter clearances demand tight tolerances, but yet they are different things.
