anyome know a local place (near Smyrna) that stocks 10 or 20 round metal or Pmags?

I want to pick up a short mag for shooting off a rest. Will 20 rounders be too long still?

Shit, I didn't even think of truprep, I don't remember seeing any there but the 30 rounders.

@TruPrep do y'all have 10 or 20 round PMAGs? Are the 30 rounders still 8.99?

You can get overpriced ones at Cabelas or GA Firing Line. It's about all they had left. Those and the 40rd pmags.

I just ordered some 10's for the same reason. Even if 20's will clear off the bench, it's just cumbersome.

I'm going to put pics of Hillary or Bill Ruger on my 10's.

Why do you buy 10 and 20 round mags? I have a few and just shove them to the side in the safe. don't even load them

For bench shooting. 30's are too long off of the bench.
This^^^

Unless you have tall sang bags or a rifle rest that accommodate standard capacity mags, its just annoying. 10 & 20 rds are fantastic for that.

For those that have used them, are the 20 round mags short enough or should I just buy a 10?
It depends on your setup. Some rests are ok with 20 rounders. If you are using short bags, get the 10 rounders.

If shooting hand loads, I only load 3-5 rounds in them anyways. Easier for me to track groups.

get the 10's. You won't be be shooting 20 continuously without the possibility of reloading anyway, and you'll be able to shoot from any bench with any rest..
