LOL, 700 for a brand new Rem 700 VTR SS 308. with nice weaver style base and bipods. All look new.

Yup!! I already had a stainless model 7 308 but I may end up liking this better if it is a shooter. The seven is a shooter though. 1/2 inch or better with a pencil thin barrel. I am hoping this is better.

Hell no! I still get super excited, but when I was younger I would get so jazzed up I probably looked like I was on drugs. I remember being so excited that I could barely fill out 4473's.

LOL, I know what you mean. I still get that way. I try to act cool though because I'm afraid if they see how jazzed I am they might not sell me the gun.
