Thanks man, I'll check it out. I'd be looking at a blued sporter weight.
My dad has one of the tactical innovations milled receiver’s. He’s been really happy with it.FYI- this place has lots of cheap 10/22 parts. The few things I've bought from them have worked out well (charging handle, mag release, etc). I don't know about the Tactical Innnovation barrels though.

I do have this- mostly because I needed a dang threaded 10/22 barrel post Sandy Hook when there was nothing available.

Dang barrel cost as much as the stock 10/22.
im gonna screw everything up and go with option C. just get a whole new gun. The cheapest option by far would be sell the 10/22 you have and then use the money to buy a pre threaded sporter one, can probably do it for almost no money on top as I've bought factory threaded tapered 10/22 for less than 250 new
Damn that’s cheap.... Wish I hadn’t just blown my stash cash!$200 even, free shipping, just tack on the sales tax and receiving FFL fee. And you get a Hogue stock to boot.

I just bought this one! She's a 1981, all metal parts and has the A-Team style Butler Creek wire side folder woop! Bought it from a nice guy named Howard on the ODT. Told him to come check out this site...where's my handjob @dougiemac ?im gonna screw everything up and go with option C. just get a whole new gun. Ha! I wouldn't even drift the rear sight out. I'm all about function anymore. It's not going to be the prize pig at the fair.@Laufen Are you wanting to keep the iron sites? If so I would just go ahead with a whole new barrel. Even if you’re not keeping the iron sites I think it would look goofy with the dovetail where are you removed the rear site. I think either way my vote Would be to get a new barrel. It might be a little more expensive, but I think you’ll be happier.
It comes with a 1/2x28 thread adapter. I think these were made for the NZ or European market.$200 even, free shipping, just tack on the sales tax and receiving FFL fee. And you get a Hogue stock to boot.

Me too. That's exactly why I passed on it. Good deal otherwise.I did not even notice that- I'd much rather have it threaded directly in 1/2x28... adapters scare me when it comes to expensive muzzle accessories.
