Glock Slide Options

I may end up doing that. If it has good reviews next year I'll probably get one and try it out. Worst case it's garbage, I sell the MOS Glock and put the optic on a range toy. I don't mind spending RMR money if I have to, but if this one ends up being a good one I'd be happy to save the money.

Yeah. I traded my MOS 17 for a regular 17. Couldn't stand it. The mounting plate design is great in theory. One other thing I forgot to mention is I had to try and shit between the sight and mounting plate bc the rmr screws went through the rmr and plate straight into the slide before the rmr was tight. It basically pushed the plate off of the slide so it was literally bending. Pos imo. Could have found smaller screws probably if I knew wtf I was looking for but I don't lol.

true, but the ELCAN is fucking sweet. So they seem to get their optics right at least.

@Leshaire i just called Glock. They said as long as the SN plate is not damaged/removed they would replace the frame for $100+tax if you brought it in.

This reminds me of the French machine gun during WWI or WWII (can't recall which)... the mag had a slot down the side of it.

Yeah, well when that machine gun was used in the field, the mags clogged with dirt/mud/you name it causing the gun (well, mag) to jam and fail to feed.

Granted, we won't see those conditions on your average range day, but I'm not a fan of holes in my mags- at least not big holes.

I know I read it back a couple posts. If you're happy with the one you got and you want to try a different setup then you can buy a new one and have 2 options daily carry and tactical or target gun. Geesh

What's the deal with everyone running threaded barrel now? I totally get it if you're running a suppressor, but to just put a threaded barrel on to have it seems kinda dumb to me.
