So Glock has announced that they are discontinuing the ever sought after "C" models (compensated), also fondly called the "fire breathing dragons" due to their top ports that resemble nostrils that port flames out the top of the slide.

I am a self described Glock fan boy. I lived in Smyrna, GA for a short time where I would visit the Glock HQ regularly to have any used Glocks that I might have purchased given a thorough inspection and overhaul (great free service). However I've always thought of these compensated models as novelty guns. Often blasting pieces of jacket in your face and blinding you with a giant flash in low light situations.

Have you ever owned a Glock "C" model? If you have, what did you like or dislike about it? If you haven't, was there a particular reason why you haven't?
