I am seriously considering getting one of these. It's a 9mm dedicated lower that accepts Glock mags. Kak Shockwave Brace and keymod handguard. Anyone here have experience with one? Thoughts?

Looks neat. I'd be more interested in a .45 model, but my next PCC project is likely going to be a 10mm MP5 clone.

Any particular reason this over an AR in 9mm?

I don't have either but at least with the AR you would have multiple options as far as triggers, etc in the aftermarket.

It will take most are lower parts, accepts drop in triggers. I like the idea of a dedicated PCC and don't like the mag blocks.

I messed with one. Machining looked pretty rough and gun felt gritty when cycling the action. Seemed like a lot of cost cutting neasures were taken. Id much rather have the scorpion or maybe a ruger pc9 if you have to have glock mags

I went to buy one today. I had it in my hands ready to go and thought the same thing about the bolt. I left without it. I almost got the only Ruger PC9 they had left but didn't want to make a rash decision. I'm going to read up on the FX9 some more before I decide. The videos on YouTube are all positive and they seem to break no in well.
