You may want to give the Mazda 3 a look-see.
Got my son a used CX-5 and I really like the idea that it has a timing chain and not a belt. The Mazda's seem to have pretty good numbers in the reliability department. Probably a bit cheaper than the Honda's but ain't nuthin' cheap these days.

A Porsche 996 is pretty reliable and not that bad if you do your own maintenance
Newer camrys are nice but you gotta go xse trim lvl and get the v6. Now they make them in awd
