For 4800 I’d just get a new car. That’s seems like way to much
Van has been paid for 5 years.
$4800 is 10 months of car payments.
So a new Toyota van for mid 30s/5 years of car payments, or $4800. Easy math there.
Buying a used minivan is a gamble. There is a good chance I will have to replace AT on it too. At least with mine I am tbe OG owner and it has been maintaned religiously.
How many guys in this thread replace coolant every 50K or ever replace brake fluid or do oil changes with synthetics every 5K miles?

No I haven’t

If you don't have at least $10k to drop on a new car you're gonna hard pressed to find anything with under 100k and even harder pressed to find something that's been maintained correctly that you aren't gonna end up dumping a ton of money into.

These are gold! Crocs with socks is killing me.

That’s was good.
I’ve never worn crocks in my life. But I live in Chacos when it’s hot.

I do on my Porsche. Probably spent more on maintenance than the actual car is worth.
Upside to new van, despite payments is not having to put in any maintenance costs for a year or two.
