Whaddy'all have in the way of a general purpose tool kit/parts kit for firearms? What do you take to the range typically?

I have an older converted tackle box with some plano trays that hold the basics. Armorer's wrench, allen wrenches, AR parts kits/spring kits/suppressor adapters, Lube, screwdrivers, bore snakes, and other miscellaneous stuff. The latch has broken on one of the boxes, so I think it's time to get something a bit more durable for all of this crap.

I like to have something small and portable enough to bring it to the range.

The cat just knocked the trays off of my work bench area and all of my small parts went fucking everywhere. Plano box to replace, and pic of offending party.

One of the reasons I don't get as much range time these days is because of all the gear I haul with me. The tool kit is no exception.

I'll take a picture later, but I have a dedicated tackle box with all manner of destruction inside. Although, it also doubles as my cleaning box, so I have that for an excuse. And a lot of spare parts have found their way into the tackle box too, but they're seldom used.

Like you said above, I generally pack to cover what I may need and what those other folks may need. All the cleaning tools, lube, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, torx wrenches, pliers, etc.

Torque driver with pretty much all bits that could ever be needed, oil, cleaning rod (really helpful for if you get a case or round stuck) and a couple brush heads, anti-sieze, blue vibratite, gorilla tape, couple microfiber cloths, small punch, "precision oiler," small bottle of zippo fluid. .

It's amazing how much of the stuff has been used at matches, by myself or others, and very few folks will carry. Other than the cleaning rod, everything fits neatly into a small Armageddon Gear pouch and just gets tossed into my pack. I've learned the hard way on some (gorilla tape comes to mind) and watched countless others learn the hard way on other stuff. I'm sure I'll add more.
