Sad that they screwed up the USP with that garbage, but I guess they won since I want to keep the USP Tac and now add a HK45 with regular 1913 picatinny rail to the mix
No I didnt make anything up. You said a ccw weapon light is needed unless I didnt plan on going out at night. You made an attempt at passive aggressive condescension because I don't see the point of the extra bulk of a weapon light on a ccw.
So, in your scenario you're going to use your standard flashlight to identify the threat THEN transition to you ccw mounted light? If not, then youre potentially tagging a non threat, which is far more likely than the opposite.

Because back when USPs were made there was no standard rail system across the board. Why they never updated the USP mold is stupefying.
Again, given the original question, I don't see the point of a light on a true CCW. HD stuff, sure.
I don't really GAF if anyone wants to mount an aircraft search light on their G43. I don't see the point. As a civilian with a gun, the law and odds are staxked against us. The chances of me tagging someone with a loaded .45 because I'm using my weapon light that ISN'T a threat are far,far higher than the opposite. The idea that I will be out at night and my spidey sense will tingle that I'm about to get jumped and use my weapon light vefore the attacker is already on my is almost laughable. Mre than likely you'll have drawn your gun and tagged a non threat in public. Ill just use my off hand to search with my flashlight and be ready to draw if needed...but theres nearly as much f a chance of that scenario as suddenly needing to battle Raiden.
Never said it was. I just wouldnt rely on that weapon light as my first line of defense for illumination, as I have noticed the vast majority of people that carry weapon lights do.

Also, If I'm going to gun I don't need multiple things for my trigger finger to do.
I didn’t ever worry about a weapon mounted light on my carry gun till I had kids. I carry a handheld light as well but one day I realized that if I am holding one of my kids then I am limited to one hand which made me stop carrying a revolver (hard to reload one handed) and start wanting a weapon mounted light.
I don't want a weapon light precisely because I have kids. I've already run I to the problem of my 4 yo waking me up because she got up to use the bathroom and decided to jump on her trampoline in the play room before going back to bed. At 3 AM all I heard was some ruckus and grabbed my USP and flashlight. It didn't take long to realize what was going on since she had the room light on, but what if she didn't? I'm not chancing pointing 13 rounds of hot death at her. What if with adrenaline pumping or just pure accident strikes and I trip on something sending a round her way? No thanks.
We all play statistics being responsible armed citizens. I weighed them and decided a mounted light isn't for me. Maybe if I tacticalled the Fuck up id have all the doodads, but I'm not in Fallujah or fighting Bosch.
I’m not trying to convince you or change your mind, just giving you my point of view for the sake of discussion. The weapon light would only ever be used if I physically cannot use my other hand to hold a separate light. The TLR6’s size is so small that I really can’t find a downside to having it. I carry a handheld light and there is a handheld light beside my HD gun as well.
