I dont know much about cans. Would I be able to just thread it onto my rifle after I get it threaded? Or would I have to buy an adapter?

Just screw it right on. All Dobb's cans are direct thread, the way God and Hiram Maxim intended them to be.

Go sealed IMO, no point in cleaning a rifle can. Thompson 30 mono cores are a major bitch to remove

Just screw it right on. All Dobb's cans are direct thread, the way God and Hiram Maxim intended them to be.

I really felt that way until I played with the key lock system on the dead air cans, it's so fail proof with no worry about a can backing off the threads.

how do you plan to clean the core since its welded to the barrel? old fashioned brushes? stand the gun up in a jar of dip? soda blasting?

This can appears to have a removable end plate, is that correct? Im no can expert or can even hold a conversation but the two small holes appear to be there for a wrench for removal.
