Scope will be here tomorrow. The Monarch had a bent tube. That was why I was shooting off so much. They replaced it with a 5-24x50mm Monarch with the side focus. Hoping to get that mounted leveled and FINALLY stretch its legs.
Let's plan a range day. I'm always looking for a reason to shoot.Need to get up with you and shoot. I got the poor man's model, but I still love her

That's what the service report said. I dunno. I picked it up used for a really good price knowing IF there was something wrong they should warranty it. So I'm getting a brand new $700 scope for I think $200.
Bent scope tube - meaning that someone along the line tightened rings downs too tight or the damn scope tube was actually bent? I'm hesitant to buy used scopes due to how I see people mount their scopes and clamp those rings down.
Yeah, they give torque specs for a reason. But, it was a really good price and I knew Nikon had a solid warranty. So I took a gamble. Looks like I got the house tonight. Usually the house wins when I gamble.
Nah. Its a target gun and set up. She looks good!@ReservoirDawg10 @Red Dawn thats a lot of scope on a 22lr.

Yeah man. Provided work and weather cooperate I'm gonna take it out to the farm this week.
Ok. Finally got some range time! Here's my 5 Round reports. All testing was done at 50 yards prone. Wind was between 5 and 10 mph. I took two measurements per brand. Center to center on the outside two. Then center to center minus the flier. I'll start with the best group.
