Oy....dassnice!
I hear ya! Lol.That's really a great looking rifle. I need to test it out for ya make sure it's worthy to keep or not. It should only take a couple weeks or so to do some extensive testing no worries ....
Absolutely! I have to pick up a few more things. Scope level, trigger pull gauge, calipers and a notebook for my findings/dope on each ammo. I'm gonna try to do this right. Also if anyone is curious about a particular ammo's performance, post what it is and I'll try to pick up a box.Stunning!
Keep us posted on your range visits/ammo testing.
I'll get a box for the range.Try some aguila standard velocity. Its cheaper than cci standard and shot pretty well in our fvsr.
Any idea when you plan on going. I need to get my 10/22 zeroed.I'll get a box for the range.

Ive never been there. I think the only public outdoor range ive been to thats still open is Creekside in cartersville.@chance do you know somewhere else we could go? You're welcome to shoot it as well.
Don't worry, I was gonna text you. I know you have to zero your .308. we'll just have a rifle zeroing day.Hey don't forget me on a range trip @Rwjeter
Well, it's official! I have a CZ 455 Precision Trainer on the way. Here's a couple shout outs. @ReservoirDawg10 talked me into it. @deguns.net was kind enough to order one in for me. @DoglegArms was good enough to allow me to ship it to his FFL. A big Thanks goes out to all of y'all! I just received the confirmation of shipping email. I know this is a little more expensive than most want to pay on a bolt action 22 long rifle, so I'm going to update the process as it unfolds and try to give a good in-depth review. Next month I'm planning on going out to the CMP range and I'm going to see how it performs at longer ranges. I'll let everyone know if it was worth the extra couple hundred bucks for the Manners stock upgrade. In the meantime I will post Factory picture of the rifle I ordered. Stay tuned!

Update 3/11/17
I picked up my rifle today. It actually arrived Thursday. Pretty much 3 days. Super fast shipping. Thanks again DEguns! Finally got to meet Dogleg as well. I will eventually be getting a suppressor from him. Very impressed. Great guy.
First impression, this thing is a beast. Although it's no where near as heavy as I was expecting. It feels great in the hands. The Manners stock definitely impresses. Good solid base, nice wide flat forend for a stable rest on bags, full palm swell feels great, and the butt pad is soft enough I where it will really form nicely to the shoulder when you load the bipod. The trigger as it sits isn't terrible, much better than a lot I've had. I've topped it with a nice Nikon 6.5-20x44 I bought off a trader from another site. Shout out to him. I hope he decides to join us soon. Great guy. Just a cheap Blackhawk! Bipod for the moment.
And now for the best part.... Pics!!!!! View attachment 26578 View attachment 26579 View attachment 26580 View attachment 26581

I seriously contemplated it. But I think I'm going to keep it the way it is. As it sits I can get a 22 Mag or 17 HMR Barrel and swap it out. I think it might be pretty cool to have one of these in a 22 Mag. I would go with a 17, but I already have a heavy barreled HMR. Also, I'm planning on down the road investing in a Lilja Barrel. Then we'll really be talking about accurate!
Unfortunately they don't offer a 17 wsm barrel for it or I'd be all over that. Only an HMR.Never compared the ballistics between 17 HMR and 22 mag. I have been contemplating a rifle in .22 mag but I have a Savage Bmag that I may re-barrel and soup up simply because it has a flatter trajectory and distance than .22 mag.
Ultimately, if punching paper, the .17 WSM is better than .22 mag at distances. Hunting wise I would not take on anything other than small game with either and I am quite happy with the. 17 WSM performance over the .22 mag.
