Hey y'all, been a while since i was on here. Sorry about that. We may be looking to relocate soon. Would like to find a place where i can go out in my back yard and shoot.

What city do you live in and are you allowed to shoot on your own property?

I live in Toledo city limits and you can most definitely not legally shoot on your property. Unless of course you're comitting a drive by or some other illegal act.

Most the time if you live outside of city limits in Ohio you can probably get away with it. I know growing up out in the country we could shoot all day and night if we wanted to.

Same here, I'm up in the Cleveland area and would really like to find a place i could go out in my own yard. Ive looked online for some kind of list or something but couldnt really find anything. I know Columbia Station and Hinkley is a yes but was wondering where else i should look for a new piece of property.

I live in the township (outside the city limits) between Columbus & Springfield. I have lived on this same 35 acre plate since I was 10yrs old., almost 50 years ago. My grandparents bought most of the land here in 1945 & at the age of 19, my wife & I bought the adjoining 16 acres.

Awesome, so I'm basically looking for townships?

Yes, most all villages or small communities have firearm restrictions. Your looking for rural property, but be sure to check before you buy. Sometimes the city slickers have infiltrated there too!
