Building a Morale Patch Display

I was considering building a morale patch display and was curious if anyone had used Veltex? It's much cheaper than hook and loop panels and according to their marketing, just as strong. I was considering making a large framed panel to display some of my more valued patches.

How did it turn out? I'm considering starting a patch wall hanger. My drawer is getting too full.

I saw one I liked the other day. It was done in the shape of the IDPA target.
