Best Precision Case trimmer

I need a case trimmer. I want a bench style with a micrometer adjustment. Looking at the L.E. Wilson Ultimate. What's everyone else using? Any other worthy alternatives?

Just a plain old RCBS trimmer. It is as repeatably accurate as I can measure with a micrometer.

To me at least, the biggest thing is to chamfer the case mouths accurately after trimming. I do that by hand too.

Note that I'm only able to measure COAL with my setup, not neck length off the shoulder.

I plan on that as well. I want to do all that by hand. I don't trust myself with a drill attachment.

Yeah, I just have a set of calipers. I want a comparator set up too.

I use a Frankfort Arsenal tool. The setep isn't micrometer based, but it gets the cases very consistent, 1-2 .000 depending on how fast you go. The tool indexes off the neck, which I feel is better than oal based trimming. You can also remove primer crimps, chamfer, and deburr all in one process, or deburr flash holes. I don't shoot benchrest, but the tool will help make very sub moa ammunition, and it speeds up brass prep to several a minute. For service rifle and hunting the cases are prepped far more consistently than non-premium brass needs to be due to variations in case capacity. I find Winchester to be the best non-premium brass, with Federal #2. I have abandoned lathe style trimmers except when I am loading for a family heirloom rifle using all my Uncle's equipment.

If your rifle is "off the rack" and you keep you tolerances down to .003, along with staying with 1/10 grain in powder charges there isn't much to gain for the additional effort.

Le Wilson is good stuff. I have a few of there seater chamber dies and a bump neck sizing die. I use a old rcbs case trimmer.
@Rwjeter what are you planning on reloading ?
