A coworker of mine won a Huldra Mark IV in a raffle for a $2 ticket. He says it's an Adams piston driven, wondering actual value these days and if anyone knows anything about them...

He's not big into ARs, but will keep it for varmint shooting if its not a POS. Any hands on info out there?

Hell, for $2, if it sucks ass, no harm no foul. I'd like to hear his take on it though. It looks good.

I've heard good things about AA piston uppers. Smoothe shooters light recoil easy target acquisition after each shot. For $2 that's a hell of a deal.

That's a great write up. Especially about the Hooldra lady blowing down the barrel to increase accuracy. Nice
That has quality goods in it as well JP trigger adj Vltor IMod Ergo grip dang I'd like to shoot it or own it.
Hey @AirOpsMgr is it FS/FT lol

From the description in that article, it looks like a pretty dang nice rifle. I've always wanted a piston upper (because gas sucks after adding a suppressor) but never even shot one. Seems like a good idea- aside from adding quite a few moving parts to a DI rifle.

Looks like for about $2-$250 you could do the kit on your AR but your right extra moving parts but smoother shooting and less gas hmm

Piston vs DI

I'll leave it alone... I took off my iron sights and put on a mil-mil scope for a marksman class last Saturday. That darn carbine range steel at 585 yards 4 out of 5 rounds after I had the range and hold over right. I was freaking impressed- so much so that I'm not going to take the dang scope off of it. 1:7 lightweight Spike's barrel- shoots like a sombitch.
