9mm AR pistol build - what configuration - do it now or wait?

My neighbor wants a 9mm AR pistol, he's just getting into firearms but really wants an AR 9. I showed him the following from PSA

2 questions: 1, is the dedicated Colt lower / hybrid upper GTG or is another combination recommended? & 2, do you think it is wise to buy now, or do you think he'd be safe to wait until later next week to see if these pop up in their 4th of July deals?

it is the dedicated colt lower with milled out mag for colt style mags only.
The upper I got will work with the colt or glock style lowers from PSA that was main reason I chose that upper so I could go with either lower.
Just my thoughts.
Also I think I am going to get the Blade Pistol brace for mine instead of SBR.
and this pistol has gone through 200 rounds so far without a hiccup.

Given how PSA sells out of things, I'd be ordering sooner rather than later.

I wish I'd ordered one of their 4.5" 9mm uppers a week or two ago when it was in stock.

I told him it was a crap shoot as far as I was concerned, I've seen where they will run some decent holiday deals, but with all that is going on right now, they might end up being out of stock by next week. Just figured I'd throw it out there to the collective

Probably the extra cost, plus the wonky slant mag configuration.
