Not sure if anyone makes a 6" 1911 in 9mm.
RIA makes one in .45acp and 10mm.
I have a Citadel 1911 in 9mm and it is a hoot to shoot.
Only five inches, though.
Mine stove pipes with CCI Quiet.
I bet you could mess around with the recoil spring and get it to work but then you'd beat the gun up every time you shot other ammo unless you changed back to the stock spring.
CG&P pricing always kicks ass at these shows.
Online it seems cases of ammo have gone up $10-$12. Haven't bought any 'cause I have plenty and don't want to contribute to the panic.

Unless you are in the middle of the conflict - and the odds of that are infinitely small - you show up at a gun battle sporting civvies and an AR/AK and you are most likely to be shot by law enforcement.
If you are worried about survival you should carry an AED so you can help the folks...
