I don't know if it's polymer but I think the materials may be the next thing. What do I know? But if you can use some kind of ceramic that is injection molded vs having to turn something on a lathe you can certainly reduce production time and lower cost. Maybe decrease weight too?

The "Colt" is just as reliable but has a cheap feel to it. Slide made of pot metal me thinks. The trigger is really heavy, too, for a 1911. Love the trigger on the S&W. Wish the mags weren't so dang expensive.

I'll second the M&P Compact. Really like this little pistola! Ultimately reliable and a great host.

So THAT'S why the triggers suck! Who knew? :classictongue: I don't troll much but when I do it's usually about Glocks... :fish2: Actually I would consider owning something like the 17L or the new 6" 10mm.

Is the M76 that much more accurate than the PSL? I would think either would lose accuracy after heating up. PSL is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH cheaper to shoot than the 8mm. Neither are made any more so I'd keep the PSL unless you're sitting on a ton of 8mm ammo.

I've always wanted an M16A1 copy with triangle hand guards and the original 3-prong flash hider.
