Since they removed material instead of adding, I wonder if there would be a concern of tweaking the mag if you drop the thing?

My grandfather was in artillery in WWI but he died when I was like three. I have no idea about his service back then. When WWII came around he was too old to serve so he joined the Red Cross and ran a camp in FIJI for the servicemen/women. Here is the carbine he brought back.

WWI trench warfare resulted in the awful loss of life because tactics didn't match technology. The individual soldiers' weapons had little to do with the mass charges into machine gun nests and artillery barrages. All things being equal, they could all have been carrying spears for that matter.

Thanks for posting the video! I like the internal splines so the thing doesn't unscrew the end cap when you remove from your firearm. Had that happen with my Evercore a couple of times. No big deal, really, but innovative.
