    Checking in

I've been reloading since about 1972 to the best of my recollection. I started off with the hammer-driven Lee sets and went through a variety of equipment. I now do most of my loading with an old but VERY sturdy Texan 7-position turret press that I bought used from a now-defunct gun store many...

    Powder question

I've got an RCBS digital powder scale (made by PACT) that's a few years old. It was made to be the companion to the first RCBS powder feeder that worked in conjunction with a scale. My scale is very repeatable and very accurate but it does not like "noisy" power (it won't operate well if my...

    Powder question

This is from my in-progress tutorial in this forum: Should you measure the weight of the powder load for each and every cartridge? If you are a stickler for accuracy or if you are at the high end of the recommended load range, the answer to this question could be "yes". Most folks who load...

Best selling line of ammo in the US of A....

I don't usually buy ready-to-fire ammo. I buy ammo parts - primers, bullets, powder, etc. Come to think of it, I also buy things like rough-cut wood and a bit of hardware to make stuff for the house far more than buying cabinets, furniture, or accessories.

Best selling line of ammo in the US of A....

I'm guessing that what's being thought about here (in the title) is the Hornady "Zombie Max" ammo. I understand that it's flying off the shelves. What really surprises me is how it's identical to other ammo except for the color of the plastic tip and it sells for more money than the standard...

    Lets see your holsters.....

This was just a personal experiment. To make this a practical thing to produce, I would need a plastic dummy LCP and I don't have one. I'd rather not stick my real LCP into too many wet hunks of leather even though I covered it in Saran Wrap for this holster.
