Tommy Theis. Stepping up his game and still kicking out some bad ass holsters!

Ha. I have looked at "battle belts" and already decided if I do get one I will have to have suspenders. For EDC I'd rather carry AIWB then use suspenders.

I wish I could use this style holster. But due to having no ass my pants don't stay up even with a good belt.

    Savage MSR Teaser

After seeing the pictures and info I don't think these are going to do well unless they drop the prices a good bit. The LR one may have a chance if they bring the price down a bit and it has good reviews. The other three are too expensive for the current AR market and have ugly stocks and...

Well, not nearly as excited anymore. For 2k there are a ton of other rifles I would rather buy.

    Branding Kydex Holsters

I think I know which company your referring to. If it is, then the logo is simple and maybe a stencil and paint would work ok if it's in a low wear area of the holster.

I get all that. I was asking if there is a reason, aside from cost, that makes an aluminum dust cover functionally better than a plastic one.

    Savage MSR Teaser

Let me ask you this, not o be argumentative. Why is having an aluminum dust cover better than a plastic one? Not from a financial standpoint but functionality only. While it may be cheaper, or not since aluminum is cheap too, maybe savage wanted to be a little different or maybe a standard AR...

    Daniel Defense reorganizing company.

And it's ugly furniture. I have no doubt they are top quality rifles but my BCM upper with all the upgrades was still like $500 cheaper then a lower end DD upper.

Maybe they felt that there was no benefit to aluminum over plastic. It is an almost unnecessary part, especially on that style rifle.

Their stuff is nice but I still can't seem to justify the price to buy one of their rifles.

    Stainless PT99

I had a 92 once and just didn't care for it, but dammit those WC 92s are sexy as hell. I also wouldn't mind trying a M9a3

It would be mostly appearance not internals. I love the looks of the Wilson Combat 92 but cant afford one.

I cant lie, since this thread I have been kinda wanting to get a pt92 and make it as close to one of the wilson combats as possible.

the clones taurus makes are the only ones I would possibly buy, I have had terrible luck with the other guns they make.

    Stainless PT99

Is this better? I think $350 would be a fair value, many folks are hesitant spend much on a Taurus, even if that particular one is not a terrible pistol.
