    44magnum heavy bullet loads?

230 is perfect for suppressing or defensive work. You can load them for under 7.00 a box even buying the projectiles. Heavier is not always better. There is a point where energy=mass x velocity tipps in favor of the lighter bullet. I shoot mostly 200 grain lswc in my .45 autos. Kicks like a kids...

    44magnum heavy bullet loads?

Sorry man, I don't do .44 magnum. I am a .45 caliber guy, .44 caliber bullets would be an oddball size for me to keep in stock. If you are looking to shoot subsonic, Trail Boss is always a good choice, but doesn't throw very well. Revolvers don't do well suppressed due to the gap between the...

Summer carry CCW/ Ohio expanded gun rights

Looking for thoughts on a new micro pistol for summer carry. I like the Keltec for it's size and weight, but it has feeding problems with anything other than round nose. The Kahr trigger was a no-go for me. My Walther shoots like a dream, but weighs more than my truck. With the restoration of...

    Resizing 357 to 9mm

Are they wax lubed? If you resized, and the lube grooves were still there but the wax cracked, the bullets would have to be relubed. If the bullets used a coating for lube they certainly would require relubing. If you are casting them I have a 9mm mould and sizer. I have a low cost source of...

    Gen 2 Glocks

I prefer the gen3, but the gen 2's are fine pistols. That being said, it is easier to get a manufacturer to add a color or trim than to retool to produce a retro model of their product.

    Question about Lee reloading dies?

76 makes a great point. I don't set up my progressive that takes Hornady bushings for less than 500 rounds, and there is always tweaking the powder measure/ expander between calibers. After running 500 to 1500 rounds I break the dies down for cleaning. If I were using those on a single stage or...

    Question about Lee reloading dies?

You can take the adaptors off the 9 dies and put them on the .44 dies. It is the press that requires the adaptors, no main stream manufacturer produces dies with that size body.

are we are missing a big name here ???

Sometimes when I am in the vegetable isle, I can't decide whether fuzzy peaches or smooth nectarines are my favorite. Then I decide that I like eating them both. Never gave the zucchini much thought.
