I would probably go with that option for myself, but I’m tuning it up for the kid to use. I know the Mosin won’t go off if he drops it out of a deer stand.

Show of hands for everyone who played pong and tank on an actual Atari.

S Stayed up all night getting my 30-06 ammo ready for hunting season 2040. It seems like every year I have to be ready to shoot 86 deer.

    Public toilets?

Any of y’all hunt with 7x62x54r at woods distances? I discovered last year that I could load 170 flat nose into the cases and make the equivalent of 30-30 “magnum” from a carbine length barrel. The safety on the guns is a pain though, and other than the ring attachment there doesn’t seem to be a...

Glock tried making bullets, but they discovered the task was impossible for them because the only shape possible for Glock manufacturing is square brick.

Commission only sales job. I’d rather work at Walmart where I got paid every week and play the insurance game on my off time.

The small solid blocks sold cheap at Harbor Freight work surprisingly well. I kept 2 lighters as well.

Those are my favorite on everything that isn't an antique or bolt action. Plus you don't risk the lower unit like with a single point.

    Public toilets?

10 acres with a big hill on 1 end is plenty for anything but 200 yard + long range. I have a little more than that and it is a job to maintain. I shoot at least twice a week, but try not to break out the 30-06 class stuff more than once a week to keep from irritating the neighbors. One has 10...

    "Get home" weapon

That’s what the metal water bottle is for. Boiling is the best method of simple disinfection. I’d stay away from anything insulated. Back when my commute was long, I’d also keep some parachute cord and a 6x8 tarp. They take up very little room in a pack when vacuum sealed. It is surprising how...

    "Get home" weapon

In this sort of scenario where you are without a vehicle, a carbine, metal water bottle, and lighter could likely make the difference between getting home and not. If you gotta walk 75 miles, it would be nice to shoot a couple rabbits along the way which is pretty difficult to do at 50 yards...

I have had a couple asks rifles and just couldn't get into them. Almost M1 heavy shooting a much less powerful round with crappy sights to boot. If they were $100 sure, not for $300+.

How do you get the dust cover off? How do you bend the sheet metal? That is exactly what I have in mind.

    Public toilets?

At the risk of being flammed for impurity. I want a shooter ak that will take a low power optic, hold a 12” plate at 400 yards, and has a fixed buttstock. I would perfer a setup that will take a G.I. loop sling. My Mausers, Nagants , etc. have become very difficult to use as I get older...

    Public toilets?

I've used some transmission fluid to soak a purposely plugged Ww2 barrel in that was put up filthy who knows how long ago after scrubbing and firing didn't work. I don't know if mercron/dextron is really that good or the fact that it was in there for weeks on end, but the crud is gone. I'm...
