I have limited experience with slings. I have a Blue Force sling and it's the only one I've owned. What do you guys use and what kind of mount?

Do you care about having a rollmark? I'm going to be manufacturing my own lowers (don't worry, I'm not actually making them) for SBRs etc. I'm thinking I may go w/o a rollmark like Spikes has. Any thoughts?

I heard the NFA Branch was slammed processing forms and that wait times would be increasing. I just got a Form 3 back today that took 2 months (filed in Jan). I have a couple of Form 3s still waiting on filed in Jan too. So looks like the rumor is true. Form 4s I've been getting took 4.5 months.

Yeah I think it may discourage many b/c of the hassle. Especially if co trustees have to be fingerprinted and photographed.

So you're going to make one? I'm interested but not as a blast shield although that's a plus. I'm more concerned damaging an expensive mount. Good idea!

I'm curious in what your views are concerning having your fingerprints and photo sent to the ATF once 41F goes into effect. Obviously we're all against it but I'm wondering if it will stop you from purchasing NFA items? Help me understand your view point if you're not likely to buy NFA items...

It's 5" in length (I still haven't received it. I"ll call them Monday). If you pin the can do you know how you are going to clean the barrel?

Pretty much this. You'll have to see what your can does. I sight my rifles with a can mounted so it's not really an issue for me.
