I have a brand new pair of Salomon SpeedCross 5’s for sale. I meant to order the wide version but got the regular version. These are brand new and never worn.

Honestly they are great shoes, light weight, easy slip on with pull cord to tighten. The only downfall is they have a softer tread and wear down in about 6-8 months of daily use.

I have been wearing them daily for the last 2-3 years.

They are comfortable as hell too. As long as they keep making them these will be the only shoes I buy. I'm on probably my 4th or 5th pair now after @Laufen recommend them several years ago.

I was in a focus group with Salomon execs a few years back and mentioned this. They said it was because these shoes are meant for maximum traction on rocks and dirt, hence the use of softer materials.

I bought my first pair when I still had my jeep and was doing a lot of off road activities. Walking various spots these shoes performed great.

What local retailers offer these? I am picky about shoe fit...though your 11s won't fit me, I'm interested in checking them out and in my experience, the "standard" for size 13-14 varies so much I won't buy without trying them.
