I want to send him a legit care package. What would be good for basic? He's got 4 more weeks.

I know my biggest issues in basic were dry skin and a runny nose. You should send him a box full of lotion and tissues.

That would go well with a list of positive reinforcement phrases that would endear him to the drill sgts.

I don't remember any women being in basic training with me...
And we had to line up and wait for a pay phone to call home.
We walked everywhere with a stupid helmet liner and a rucksack, and our weapons.

Care packages in Basic? I never got a care package in basic! No womens, either. They trained in their own groups. And I swear there was razor wire, claymores, and MG nests between our barracks and theirs...
