I have several I have done was just wondering if anybody else has done it and willing to talk about it.

What is the advantage to this method? Doesn't seem cheaper with all the inexpensive lowered these days. Is it just for the fun of doing it yourself?

3 you learn a new skill and the satisfaction that you built it.
Yes its more expensive but you can order these without any government persons knowing you got them.
They come to your house, No FFL involved.
and besides it keeps me out of trouble and gives me a task so I stay busy.

What tools are required? Recommended? Nice if you have them?

An instructor I work with in the Savannah area but l buys these by the case.

I can also post a how to with a Milling Machine as that is what I have now.

I have 1.5

I completed one and it works fine.

Did the second one and apparently my trigger pin holes were off a fraction.
